The Black Belt Club is not a guarantee that you will become a black belt. We will do our part but, in the end, it is up to you.

Rank Progression Timeline

Achieving your black belt can take anywhere from 5 years to 10 years (from the time you earn your white belt) based on your level of effort and class attendance. Below is an estimation of time you can expect to invest at each rank.

BLUE - BLUE STRIPE BELT

Minimum Age: 7 Years Old

Time at Rank: 3-6 Months

BLUE STRIPE - GREEN BELT

Minimum Age: 7.5 Years Old

Time at Rank: 3-6 Months

GREEN - GREEN STRIPE BELT

Minimum Age: 8 Years Old

Time at Rank: 9-18 Months

GREEN STRIPE - BROWN 3RD CLASS

Minimum Age: 8.5 Years Old

Time at Rank: 9-18 Months

BROWN 3RD - BROWN 2ND CLASS

Minimum Age: 9 Years Old

Time at Rank: 6-12 Months

BROWN 2ND - BROWN 1ST CLASS

Minimum Age: 9.5 Years Old

Time at Rank: 6-12 Months

Minimum Age: 10 Years Old

TOTAL TIME

Minimum Age to Test for Black Belt: 10 Years Old

Time to go from Blue Belt to Black Belt: 3.5-7.5 Years of Training

*Time at each rank is dependent on the student's focus level, time spent practicing at home, age, and regular class attendance.
